Before you begin #

Your checkout settings include turning on dark mode and adding sounds when you take a payment. All your checkout settings are available on your Restaurants POS app.

Before you adjust your checkout settings, make sure you set up Selio for Restaurants correctly on your point of sale device. Learn more about how to set up your point of sale with Selio for Restaurants.

Enable dark mode #

1. Open your Restaurants POS app and tap Account > Settings > Appearance.
2. Under Appearance, toggle on Use Dark Theme.

To revert to light mode, follow the same steps and toggle off Use Dark Theme. Please note: dark mode is not available with Selio Register.

Enable sounds for payments #

When you enable payment sounds, a customized sound plays when your customers insert or tap a credit card.

1. Open your Restaurants POS app and tap Account > Settings > General.
2. Under General, tap Allow Payment Sounds.

Enable touch sounds/vibrations #

When you enable touch sounds/vibrations, a vibration will play when you use the menu and a customized sound plays when your customers insert or tap a credit card.

1. Open your Restaurants POS app and tap Account > Settings > General.
2. Under General, tap Allow Touch Sounds or tap Allow Touch vibration.

To revert to no payment sounds, follow the same steps and toggle off Allow card network sounds.
