Before you start
Make sure your checkout and payment settings are configured in Selio Manager (e.g., available payment methods, tip settings, etc.).
Payment screen options #
- Add VAT number on Receipt: Toggle ON to input the client’s VAT number manually (optional).
- Tap to Pay on Android: Use contactless payment directly on supported Android devices.
- Payment Method Selection: Choose from cash, card, vouchers, or other configured methods.
- Split Payment: Tap Split to divide the total across multiple payment methods or between guests.
Standard payment #
- Open the order you wish to close.
- Tap Print Bill if guests request a printed bill for tip entry.
- Tap Pay to proceed to checkout.
After entering the number of covers (see previous article), you’ll reach the Payment screen.
Close a bill and take payment:
Split payments #
- Tap Split on the Payment screen.
- Enter the amount for the first guest/payment type.
- Tap Continue, then select the payment method.
- Repeat for additional payments until the order is fully settled.

⚠️ Important:
Ensure each partial payment is fully processed before moving to the next one to avoid discrepancies.
💡 Pro Tip:
Use Split Payment to allow guests to pay with multiple methods (e.g., cash + card) or split bills equally among guests.
