## Before you begin
- Open Selio KDS where prep stations are configured
- Know the seller connected to the station
- Know the prep station name and display mode
- Decide whether products or categories should route to more than one prep station
- Decide whether one KDS screen should show multiple prep stations

## Steps
1. Open the prep-station configuration in Selio KDS.
2. Create or edit the station entry.
3. Set the station name.
4. Select the seller.
5. Select the prep station.
6. Select the display mode.
7. Assign products or categories to the required prep stations when they need to appear in more than one place.
8. Confirm one KDS screen can show the prep stations it needs.
9. Test the change; prep-station updates apply in real time.

## Troubleshooting
- **A station does not show expected work:** Confirm the seller, prep station, and display mode.
- **A product or category should appear in multiple places:** Assign it to each required prep station.
- **One screen needs more than one station:** Confirm the screen is configured to show the required prep stations.
