## Summary
Mark an order as DONE when the full order is complete, so waiters can be notified or the order state can change to done.

## Before you begin
- Confirm the full order is complete
- Remember that DONE applies to the full order
- Know that done orders move to the completed orders list
- Know that done actions sync across multiple KDS screens
- Do not assume staff can undo a done action

## Steps
1. Open the full order on the KDS screen.
2. Review the order one final time.
3. Confirm it is complete.
4. Tap **DONE**.
5. Confirm the order moves to the completed orders list.
6. Confirm the done state is reflected on other KDS screens.
7. Confirm waiters are notified or the order state changes to done, depending on the active flow.

## Troubleshooting
- **DONE was tapped too early:** Escalate operationally; no undo behavior is confirmed.
- **The order does not move to completed orders:** Check device connection and whether the full order was marked DONE.
- **Another KDS screen still shows the order as active:** Check sync and device connection.
- **Waiters are not notified:** Verify the order state changed to done and retest with a controlled order.
