Set Roles and Permissions

Before you begin

  • Sign in to Selio Manager
  • Make sure you have permission to manage roles and permissions
  • Review the user or team structure before assigning access
  • Decide which areas should be restricted to managers or admins only

Steps

  1. Open the users or permissions area in Selio Manager.
  2. Select the user or role you want to review.
  3. Open the permissions settings for that user or role.
  4. Enable or restrict access to the relevant areas.
  5. Review the selected permissions carefully.
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Confirm the user now has the correct level of access.

Troubleshooting

  • Permissions cannot be edited: Your account may not have the right access level.
  • User still sees the wrong sections: Refresh the session and confirm the changes were saved.
  • A team member has too much access: Reopen the settings and reduce permissions immediately.
  • A team member cannot do daily tasks: Review which permissions are required for their role.
  • Roles feel inconsistent across locations: Define an internal permission model and apply it consistently.
