Before you begin
- Make sure the customer profile already exists
- Confirm you have permission to edit customer data

Steps
- Open Customer Directory.
- Find and open the customer profile you want to update.
- Review the current customer details.
- Edit the fields that need correction or improvement.
- Review the changes carefully.
- Save the updated profile.
- Confirm the new information is now visible in the customer record.
Troubleshooting
- The profile cannot be edited: Your account may not have permission to update customer records.
- Changes do not appear after saving: Refresh the profile and confirm the save completed correctly.
- The wrong customer profile was edited: Reopen the correct profile and verify the identity before making more changes.
- Profiles become inconsistent over time: Assign ownership for customer data quality to one role or team.
