Edit customer details from the Customer Directory screen so the profile stays accurate across the business.
Before you begin
- Open the correct customer profile before changing any details
- Confirm your role has permission to edit customer records
- Check whether you are working in Manager or Restaurant App, because permissions can differ
- Review the updated information before saving
Editable customer details
Validated editable fields include first name, last name, phone, email, company, CUI/VAT, address, birthday, tags, notes, loyalty data, and fiscal data.
Edits apply globally across the business. Customer profile deletion, archiving, merging, restore, and change audit history are not part of this flow.
Steps
- Open the customer profile in Customer Directory.
- Review the current customer details.
- Edit the fields that need to be corrected.
- Save or update the profile.
- Confirm the changed information is visible in the customer record.
Troubleshooting
- Email or phone needs correction: These fields can be edited directly when your role has edit access.
- The profile cannot be saved: Selio blocks saving when required data is incomplete or invalid.
- The edit action is unavailable: Your permissions may not allow customer detail changes in the current app area.
- Saving fails: Selio shows an error; review the entered data and retry.
- A profile needs to be removed or merged: This article does not cover delete, archive, merge, or restore actions.
