Confirm the customer profile already exists
Create a profile from the service flow only when your role has permission
Attach the customer before payment, not after payment
Review the selected profile before finalizing the order
How profile linking works
Profile linking is available in Restaurant App and Manager. A customer can be attached to an active order, checkout, table, or delivery order before payment.
Before finalization, staff can remove the attached customer if needed. After payment, the customer cannot be attached or changed through this flow.
Attaching a profile can affect loyalty, coupons, gift cards, invoices, reports, and customer history.
Steps
Open the active order, checkout flow, table, or delivery order.
Use the customer action to search for a profile.
Review the visible profile details: name, phone, email, last order, total spend, and tags.
