Create a Customer Profile

Create a customer profile so your team can keep customer information organized and use it in future service interactions.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the customer does not already exist in the system
  • Make sure your team knows which customer details should be collected
  • Follow the business rule for storing customer information
  • Make sure your account has permission to create customer profiles

Steps

  1. Open Customer Directory.
  2. Start the create customer flow.
  3. Enter the customer’s core details.
  4. Review the information before saving.
  5. Save the new profile.
  6. Open the customer record to confirm it was created correctly.
  7. Continue with the next service or profile action if needed.

Troubleshooting

  • A duplicate profile was created: Search first before creating a new customer.
  • The team is unsure what details are required: Define a minimum customer data standard internally.
  • The profile does not appear after saving: Refresh the customer list and search again.
  • The wrong information was entered: Open the new profile and correct it immediately.
