  1. Open the payment flow in Selio.

  4. Review where the customer taps their card, phone, or watch.
  5. Confirm how the payment result returns into the Selio workflow.
  6. Review how the transaction appears in the order after payment succeeds or fails.
  7. Make sure the team understands the difference between the Selio operational flow and the partner’s payment processing role.

Troubleshooting

  • Tap to Pay is not available on the device: Confirm the device is Android and eligible for the payment setup.
  • The team expects Selio to process card payments directly: Clarify that Selio orchestrates the payment flow, while the partner SoftPOS solution handles electronic processing.
  • The payment flow feels unclear to staff: Train the team on the exact step where Selio hands off to the partner payment app and then returns the result.
  • A refund is requested: Refunds are not handled as part of Selio Tap to Pay documentation. Follow the partner’s approved process outside Selio.
