Start the payment in Selio, let the customer tap on the Android device, and confirm the paid state returns to the order.

Before you begin

  • Make sure the order is ready for payment
  • Use a supported Android device with the active partner setup already available
  • Be ready to switch payment method if the customer cannot complete the tap

Steps

  1. Open the order that is ready for payment.
  2. Start the card or contactless payment path in Selio.
  3. Hand the Android device to the customer or position it for the tap.
  4. Wait for the payment result instead of moving to another screen too early.
  5. Confirm the order returns to Selio with the expected paid or updated state.
  6. Change the payment method before finalizing only if the contactless attempt cannot be completed.

Troubleshooting

  • The customer taps but nothing happens: Recheck device readiness and the active partner flow before retrying.
  • The partner payment flow does not open: Confirm the handoff step starts correctly from the Selio order.
  • The payment finishes but the order does not look paid: Review the order state before starting another attempt.
  • The customer wants another method instead: Exit the contactless path cleanly and use the correct alternative payment flow.
