Before you begin
- Make sure the order is ready for payment
- Confirm payment methods are configured and available
- Check that connected devices are ready if payment hardware or fiscal devices are required
- Confirm the user has permission to complete payments and split payments
Steps
- Open the order that is ready to close.
- Start the payment flow.
- Review the full amount due.
- Choose whether to take full payment or split the payment.
- Select how the payment should be split.
- Complete each payment part in the correct order.
- Confirm the balance reaches zero and the transaction is completed successfully.
Troubleshooting
- Payment option is missing: Check payment method setup and user permissions.
- Split payment totals do not match: Recheck the split before confirming each payment part.
- One part of the payment fails: Retry that portion carefully without duplicating the successful part.
- Receipt or fiscal step does not complete: Review connected device and fiscal readiness.
- Guest changes payment method mid-flow: Adjust before final confirmation, if the flow allows it.
