Use Trays

Use trays to organize assigned ready orders by driver before dispatch, so your team can prepare clean delivery handoff without confusion.

Before you begin

  • Make sure orders are already assigned to drivers
  • Confirm the team understands that trays contain assigned ready orders, not active deliveries
  • Check that each tray is tied to the correct driver
  • Use trays before dispatch, not after the driver has already left

Steps

  1. Open the trays area in Selio Delivery.
  2. Review the tray cards shown for each driver.
  3. Confirm that each tray contains only the ready orders already assigned to that driver.
  4. Review the order chips or cards inside the tray.
  5. Remove any order that should not leave with that driver yet, if needed.
  6. Confirm the tray is correct before dispatch.
  7. Use the tray as the final staging area before sending the driver out.

Troubleshooting

  • A tray contains the wrong order: Remove it before dispatch so it returns to READY.
  • A tray is missing assigned orders: Recheck driver assignment and refresh the workspace.
  • The team expects trays to show active deliveries: Clarify that trays are for pre-dispatch assigned ready orders only.
  • Orders are changed after dispatch: Once dispatched, tray editing should no longer be the working flow.
