Before you begin
Use an Android device or Android TV that can run the Selio KDS Android app
Confirm the device has a stable internet connection
Have the QR code or pairing code ready
Know which prep station, device profile, or screen the device should use
Remember that KDS shows only tickets assigned to the selected prep station
Steps
Open the Selio KDS Android app on the device.
Start the QR or pairing-code flow.
Scan the QR code or enter the pairing code.
Select or confirm the assigned prep station, device profile, or screen.
Wait for the KDS screen to sync.
Place or use a test order assigned to that prep station.
Confirm the ticket appears on the KDS screen assigned to that prep station.
Troubleshooting
The device cannot pair: Recheck the pairing code or QR code and the internet connection.
The wrong prep station or screen appears: Stop and correct the selected prep station, device profile, or screen.
The screen opens but no tickets appear: Confirm there is an order assigned to that prep station.
A user sees limited tickets: This is expected when the KDS screen is assigned to a specific prep station.
Tickets still do not appear after a test order: Review the KDS screen setup and prep-station routing before live service.
