Route Orders to the Right KDS Station

Summary

Use prep-station routing so orders appear on the right Selio KDS station. If no station matches, the order is not displayed on any KDS station.

Before you begin

• Confirm the prep station exists
• Confirm the KDS screen is assigned to the expected prep station
• Know which order should be used for testing
• Do not assume a fallback station exists when no prep station matches

Steps

1. Review the prep station that should receive the order.
2. Confirm the KDS screen is assigned to that prep station.
3. Place a controlled test order assigned to the prep station.
4. Confirm the order appears on the correct KDS station.
5. If routing changes are needed, update the prep-station assignment.
6. Retest immediately; routing changes apply in real time.
7. If no station matches, treat the order as not displayed on KDS until the assignment is corrected.
