Steps
- Start a new order or open an existing order.
- Add an item that includes available options.
- Review the option choices shown on screen.
- Select the correct option based on the guest request.
- Confirm the item and add it to the order.
- Review the order line to make sure the selected option is visible.
- Continue adding the rest of the order.
Troubleshooting
- No options appear for the item: The item may not have options configured in the active menu.
- The wrong option was selected: Edit the order line and correct it before payment or send-to-kitchen finalization.
- Staff are confused by similar options: Review the naming of options and keep labels clear and simple.
- Kitchen did not receive the selected option: Confirm the option prints or routes correctly in the production setup.
- Option affects pricing unexpectedly: Review how the item and its options were configured.
