Summary

Apply coupons correctly during checkout or order review, so promotional offers are used as intended and totals remain accurate.

Before you begin

• Make sure coupons are already created and active
• Confirm the coupon is valid for the location, time period, or offer conditions
• Check whether the coupon applies automatically or needs to be added manually
• Make sure the user has permission to apply promotional actions, if required

Steps

1. Start a new order or open an existing one.
2. Add the items required for the promotion.
3. Open the coupon or promotion action from the order.
4. Search for or select the correct coupon.
5. Review the coupon effect on the order total.
6. Confirm the coupon application.
7. Check that the order shows the updated pricing before payment.
