Before you begin

Steps

  1. Start a new order or open an existing one.
  2. Add the required items to the order.
  3. Open the discount action from the order or selected item.
  4. Choose the correct discount type.
  5. Review the updated total before confirming.
  6. Apply the discount.
  7. Confirm the order clearly shows the discount before payment.

Troubleshooting

  • Discount option is missing: The user may not have permission or the discount may not be configured.
  • Discount applies incorrectly: Confirm whether it was meant for one item or the whole order.
  • Price looks lower or higher than expected: Review discount type and configuration.
  • Staff applies the wrong discount: Remove or correct it before payment, if allowed.
